I was wondering if you could help. I'm in New York and I want to get to Mexico to work. WHat is the cheapest way of doing this and where would be a good place to go to try and get work? I don't have a permit and my spanish is conversational but by no means fluent.

Depending where you go, a good airfare will probably be cheaper when you factor in food and lodging along the way. Try bookingbuddy.com for good prices with 6-7 different companies using the same typed in info. Get it both ways, because it won't be much if any cheaper for one way and you might decide to give it up.

You would probably do best in a tourist-oriented market. But I hope you aren't planning to make a lot of money.

You'll make almost infinitely more money working in New York, so the best solution is to work there until you have enough money to travel then go!
