Hi!
If you are going to Guatemala and want to study spanish I know a great spanish school! The school is called "la Democracia" and is situated in Quetzaltenango, up in the highlands of Guatemala.

La Democracia is runned by the very friendly "dona Flory" who has several years of teaching experience. The school offers classes for all language
levels and as a student you get private lessons combined with social activities where you get to practise your spanish in real life. During my
stay we climed a volcano, danced salsa, visited a local market, had a barbecue, watched a game of football and much more. You can choose between living with a guatemalan family during your stay or at a hostel. If you stay with a family all meals are included.

I think la democracia spanish school is a great one that combines traditional studies with social activities and sightseeing. Language are
best learned in interaction with natives and that is something you get a lot of at la Democracia.

La Democracia spanish school is a very friendly one where all students are treated like family members. I think that what distinguishes la democracia from other schools is the high quality of the teachers and that dona Flory
has the ability to make every student feel special and "at home". I can highly recomend everyone la democracia spanish school!
