Morning. Has anyone got any experience of camping in Cuba? Is it relatively easy to find campsites and/or simply pitch your tent up on beaches etc (within reason, of course)? Any tips and funny stories would be much appreciated! Cheers.
...is not something normally done, at least by tourists, in Cuba. It is possible to find really cheap Casa Particulars which are rooms in private homes in most towns and cities. Expect to pay $15-25 US per night.
Note Cuban immigration may hassle you whn you arrive if you can't show proof of a hotel for the first night. They may make you book something there at the airport and often the selection available is themost expensive place available.
