recently on the forum, i read of a non recomendation to climb volcanoes with OX which is based in antigua guatemala, to my dismay i contiued reading, from my perspective, a blatant attempt to undermine a company from doing what anyone in the world has a right to do, and at the same time destroy a reputaion of the person behind the company,
i am of the opinion that guatemala is one of the last un-touched places on the earth where if one feels like doing something such as starting a business/working/volunteering time to locals/ or basically whatever one feels like doing, it can be done with out all the fuss and red tape that is plaguing the rest of the world.simple life opportunities, are there and are there for everyone.
im sure victor is well on the way to endevoring to be the best guide/guiding business that he can, these things of course take time. as for the defamatory remarks of his personality, im not sure where the antigua watch people are coming from with this. we as people are all different and are able to make opions by ourselves, whatever he is like in person, the trips and expierience that ox offers outways, what seems to be the opions of some dis-gruntled other party.
i lived and worked in antigua, for 6 months in 2004, i met victor and he gave me the opportunity to work with ox on the mountains, it was an amazing time of my life where i met hundreds of great people and have great memories to go along with all of it.
as of now im still trying to get back there and would like to think i would pick up where i left off.
there are plenty of companies in antigua that offer a large range of things to do whilst there, im sure ox is fitting in well and is actually still better value than alot of the competitors.
im sure the people from antigua watch will grow to realize the world is big enough for everyone.
cheers.

Hey,
Just met Victor and he told me about the recent stuff he has had to put with lately.
As a matter of fact he is too noble and would not tell me where to find these bad reviews that have unethically tried to misguide the great work done by OX. Id appreciate if you could send me the link to one of them. Im sure Victor will appreciate it as well.

Best regards,
Juan
