so I'm planning on going to Oaxaca for Dia de los Muertos next year and I was wondering if anyone had any tips/advice the would like to impart or share.

sorry for my ignorance, but is this, 'Dia de Los Muertos', something like we here in the States celebrate Halloween? I have never heard of this before...day of the dead. sounds like a scary movie...=)
