Hi! Just wanted to recommend a great language school and social program in Antigua, Guatemala. I spent 3 months in Guatemala and had the privilege to volunteer with Probigua language school and Speak Shop, a new on-line Spanish language course.

Probigua is a very social-justice oriented language school that has a biblio-bus that brings books to rural areas. Speak Shop is a great new non-profit that is helping the professors at Probigua give online classes using video-cams and All the funds from the online classes go directly to the teachers. Old students who wish to continue studying with their teacher or students who can´t travel to Guatemala for individual classes can use Speak Shop and work one on one with Guatemalan teachers. The services are inexpensive and the Speak Shop site is both helpful and informative. I highly recommend it for anyone who wishes to continue practicing their Spanish.
