I will be travelling in El Salvador and Guatemala for Semana Santa and the week after. I don't think I'll be heading to Guatemala until Holy Saturday or Easter Sunday. Does anyone have suggestions for festivities in El Sal? Also will the markets, particularly Chichi, be open on Easter Sunday? Any other advice on festivities and/or service closings or interruptions (ie bus schedules) would be much appreciated!
