My husband and I are planning a belated honeymoon to Belize in February. We are planning to spend 5 days in Cayo and 5 days on the beach either in Ambergris Caye or Placencia. has anyone spent time in either or both beach locations and can you recommend a location? We think we've found great accomadations in each place but are concerned that the beaches on Ambergris are not too nice (I am a beach bum). We are looking for a low-key, relaxing, beautiful place Thanks

Ambergris is more upscale and Placencia has a long beach. I like Placencia better.
