Just want to let you know that my family had a very good experience with a tour company in November, in case you are looking for one. Our family of 4 considered driving ourselves, but are glad we did not, after hearing from a friend on their experience. We booked thru One Costa Rica (really called Green Heritage Tours in costa Rica), and had vans with just us, great guides, tours with just us, and transport that was not only on time, but early. The lodging was also very agreeable, and I think we could not have saved any money by going it alone. I recommend Green Heritage; they made changes that I wanted, and we felt very satisfied. A great trip when traveling with family!
