Hello

Can anyone recommend a decent (cheap) hotel in Cancun? I'm just stopping over for one night in between flights, so I don't want to have to trek all the way over to the beach front.

The Punta Allen is on a pleasantly quiet street of the same name. A friend and I stayed there in early March of this year and we liked it.

I wasn't all that happy with the first room shown and asked if there was a better one. Instead of a somewhat small room that was a bit dark, we got a larger airy one with a balcony.

By heading onward on that street, you can explore a pleasant residential neighborhood.
