I'm looking at going to Central America next December for about 3 weeks, including Christmas and New years. I want to go to Belize and Honduras and if time permits Isla Murjeres. Everything I've read says accommodation becomes very scarce at that time. Anyone had any experience of how true this is. I don't really want to give up my flexibility but should I be looking at booking in advance?
Thanks, |

If you can arrive everywhere that is tourist oriented while in the morning, you probably won't have a whole lot of trouble getting a room, but you just might anyway. As it gets later in the day, there will be fewer rooms for you to find.

Thanks for the reply/advie Mayaphille. Been on your website which is very helpful. Hoping to include Guatemala in the trip too.
Good Travelling. |
