I'm planning on flying to Mexico from the UK next autumn and flying back from Chile the following year. Was wondering if any of you guys have any advice on the best way to go about this? Should I get an open-jaw return, or just buy a single ticket and buy the return when I get there? Also, how difficult/expensive is it to travel from Mexico to Chile?
Thanks

An open jaw ticket is the way to go if you have a good idea of when you want to return. You would have the price locked in and would be less likely to have any unpleasant price surprises. Also in the unlikely event that some border official decides to enforce border requirements of having a return ticket, you would have proof.

You might want to find the UK version of a consolidator or bucket shop to book with.

Thanks for the advice. I think you're right, I just need to go for it and buy that ticket!
