Just one good tip for everybody who need to go fro the beautiful beaches of Tulum to the Cancun airport, there is a direct shuutle, that pick you up from any hotel in Tulum an take you in less then 2 hours to the airport for 19 Us -very cheap and good service, the taxi charge 90US!!! The shuttle is called Tucan Kin and has toll free number where you can make your reservation: 018007024111, (0052) 984 129 15 75 my hotel didnt want to book it for me, as the receptionists receives juicy commisions from the taxis...you better book it by yourself.

Most people know that taxis are not something any logical person would mention as an alternative for going from Tulum to the Cancun airport, maybe unless there was a serious lack of time to get to a very early flight.

There are plenty of buses from Tulum to Playa, where the Riviera bus to the airport originates. I bet this person did not bother to set up a notification from this message.
