Question:
We're going to peru in late feb for 3 weeks. We would like to do the inca trail. after reading up, it seems that the inca trail maybe closed for maintentance, or because of bad weather.

Has anyone been at this time of year, who can give us some advice if this is true.

maybe you are already there by now but i was in south america at this time of year in 2003 and did the inca trail in march. it was the beggining of the season so still quite wet but it meant there were less poeple doing the trail so better...lots of tour companines in and around the square that will be able to find out about
