Im in the very early stages of planning a trip for maybe 6 months around south america and am having difficulties finding a flight package from london to this continent only. They all seem to involve travel to a couple of continents minimum. Id be looking at maybe 5 flights or there abouts in total so a package would definitely be benefitial. Id greatly appreciate any advice....

My advice is that you dont miss places such as cusco, Brailian coast, Iguazu falls, Cordoba´s mountains, BA, Patagonia, Torre del Paine among many others

its a way off yet but around april ill be in ascunsion paraguay. im very intereted in gettin into brazil by the rio paraguay which goes from ascuncion up to corumba in the brazilian pantanal. i read about a bolivian who hadf gone the other way in a reed boat and it sounds fantastic. however although there is traffic on the river my understanding is that the border crossing is ambiguous. if anyone has info on the posssibility of this trip i would like to know. otherwise ill have to talk to officials in ascuncion(british consulate etc) and we all know that they will tell me not to do it.
