Sorry guys, but in Argentina everything is done via Buenos Aires. Well worth the effort though to see Iguazu. Actually you could probably just take a bus from either Mendoza or Cordoba. The buses in Argentina are better than most planes.
I agree on the buses. They are very comfortable and you can save a lot of money. Buenos Aires to Iguazu is around 50-60 USD in a bus with fully reclining seats. You start in the evening, have a good night's sleep, and arrive in the morning.
