I went to a great hostel , I recommend it to you as it is cheap and simply beautiful. Besides it has many facilities (free internet, free breakfast,GYM)AND people are friendly. From there you are near downtown and has buses and subways to all the important places for tourism. Its email is info@hotel-inn.com
Have fun!

I went with 2 other friends to Buenos Aires. We spent a great time. 2 fantastic weeks. Buenos Aires is AMAZING!!!....People are nice and a lot of things to do. We stayed at Giorgio's House Buenos Aires A great place...We thought it was just a Hostel but the feeling was better than staying at home.

Hi! I am an expat in BA and would love to help...on Monday night you should to go a drumming improv show at Club Konex. It is called La Bomba de Tiempo and it costs 10 pesos...its a suprisingly good mix of locals and foreigners..and the music is to die for. It is on Sarmiento 3131.
If you are looking for Spanish language, history or literature classes email me at pasaaveces@hotmail.com and I can hook you up witha great school in downtown BA.
