Bariloche, Argentina is a good place for it as the country is cheap and there are lots of beautiful landscapes. Just in case, Bariloche is in Patagonia. Actually, I did skiing and had a good time and I wanna repeat the experiece next year because it was one of the coolest things I did in my trip around South America.
