A new bookstore called The Spitting Llama Bookstore & Outfitter just opened in Cochabamba, Bolivia. They have over 2,000 English, German, French, & Italian books. They distribute guidebooks and have guides to all of South America! They also have some sweet novels in Spanish and specialize in Quechua books. They have maps, brochures, and tons of hiking equipment from backpacks, tents, & bike rentals, to memory cards, USB cards and swiss army knives. Check them out! www.thespittingllama.com

If you find yourself in Cochabamba, I'd also check out Sustainable Bolivia. www.sustainablebolivia.org

They offer awesome, low- cost accommodations, language classes, and volunteer opportunities.

Sustainable Bolivia was the highlight of my stay in Bolivia. I lived in an awesome home, close to everything, and volunteered at an orphanage with the cutest kids ever. Everyone at Sustainable Bolivia was really warm and welcoming.....I'd recommend them to anyone.
