Does anyone have experience with a self drive 4WD rental car?
My wife and I intend to start in Lima, drive up to the Cordillera Blanca, touring the Calejon de Huaylas, return to the Lima area, proceed through Pisco & Nazca to Arequipa. There we would like to drop off the car, take a plane to Cusco, rent another 4WD and - after touring the region - fly back to Lima. We are fully aware this is no budget travel.
