How have recent changes in the economy affected hotel prices? Is it possible to get
simple (bed, pillow, bath. NO: TV, phone, balcony), safe (both neighborhood and the room itself), clean (no bugs) rooms for under US$10 a day (27 reis)? Is it possible to find accomodation in Brazil comparable in price and quality to, say, Mexico, where I usually pay about US$10 (100 pesos) in Mexico City, and about US$6 (60 pesos) in the provinces? |
