Question:
Hello!

I am going to travel to Ecuador Peru and Bolvia for 3 months. I would like to buy a guide book, but don't know which one is best for this region.
Generally I've always been satisfied with rough guide, but I wonder whether this is the best guide for these countries as well. I saw that Let's go has a book which combines those three countries. Anybody who used it and can tell me whether it's good? Furthermore, I heard negative comments about the Lonely planet of Peru, what about the other countries? Is there a general rough guide for South America?
I would like to know what your experiences are whith these books. Thanx for letting me know!!!

Choices:
????????

hola ,

best book by far for this continent is the south american handbook by footprint . i think that it is best to buy it even if you are going to just three countries . there are specific handbooks for these countries .

the amount of helpfull information combined with almost no ******** information combined with a lot of info about off the beaten trail ( gringo trail ) makes it the best.

happy travels

dan
