Hi there,
I'm really keen to teach in Peru for six-eight weeks next summer and then travel for another six weeks or so. Can anyone recommend an organisation that runs teaching schemes? I'll be twenty five by then, so I'm not really interested in schemes run only for gap year students. Also which are the most stunning and interesting parts of Peru? Sophie |

Hi Sophie,
My sister did a TEFL (Teach English in a Foreign Language) course and found it really good. Their website is www.tefl.com and you can check where the courses are run by clicking on the Worldwide Courses Directory under the Teacher Training section. Good luck! |

Hey, i was teaching in Peru last year, though on my gap year so my organisation won't be of much help. However, if you have qualifications you ccan probably find work in Lima or Cusco etc quite easily, one of my friends stayed on after and did this. If you are a finalist, taking a year out after uni, i suggest AIESEC (www.workabroad.com) who offer graduate placements like this in South America. As for good places to visit, Cusco, Huaraz, Colca Canyon, Arequipa, Nazca Lines, Ballestas Island . . .the list goes on. HAVE FUN!!
