Hi,
We (future husband and wife!) have flights booked into and out of Santiago this July for 2 1/2 weeks. Can somebody please suggest an interesting itinerary for us for Chile/Peru and possibly Bolivia. Top of our list is of course (Machu Picchu), after that the great outdoors, some beaches and possibly the slopes would be good.......Would love to see as much as possible in the short time we have. Thanks for help. |

While you are in Peru, you should "pop in" to Bolivia. You can go via Lake Titikaka (Puno in Peru and Copacabana in Bolivia). Actually Copacabana is probably the better side of the lake and then spend a day or two shopping in Bolivia. Bolivia is the best place to pick up lots of cheap souvenirs and lovely things for your house! You might want to consider booking an internal flight from Santiago to southern Chile to see the lakes and mountains. In such a short time internal flights will give you better opportunity to see more things. Have a great time and good luck with your wedding!
