Hi all,
Early november I will be traveling by car in the west of Argentina (from south to north). Because of limited time I have to make a difficult choice: start in Chile for visiting Torres del Paine and skip the Lake District around San Martín de los Andes, or skip TDP and spend some time in the Lake District. I tend to go to the Lake District, because the wetter will be a little better there than in the south and I prefer day hikes. Can anyone advice me?? Thanks in advance! |

Hi,
I've spent some time in both of thoses destinations and would not hesitate. Go to Torres del Paine, it is one of the most beautiful trekking i've done in south america. From there you can also cross to argentina to make the EL CHALTÉN trek, unique and wonderful. Cheers |
