I want to get to Lima for the 24 August, from the UK, returning on 1 September. I can only go if the flight price is around £200-£300.
While looking for the cheapest prices for other countries, I have managed to find huge reductions but Peru seems to be quite static around the £750 mark.
There are quite a few spanish lo-costys operating out of barajas. Spannair and air europa are two that come to mind. alternatively you may be able to get a return as a courrier -all above board-. there are a number of companies around heathrow who advertise in the daily mail(should you happen to come across a copy on the tube). Not done it since student days in the '80's butused to get to honkers/the states for £50 *only hand luggage *week return.
Thanks, I hadn't considered being a courier. Do the courier companies have websites that you know of? I did a search for 'student courier work brazil', but there was nothing relevant. Do you know the names of any companies/what to search for?
When there are promotions consider flying to other destinations in South America and then take a bus to Peru. It is even possible to take a bus from Buenos Aires to Lima for under 200 USD, takes three days Ok, bad example... but if it is not so far... Buses in Chile
