Hi, i'm a 22yr old male from England who is planning to travel across South America at the beginning of next yr(2003). I plan to travel from Rio to Quito (or vice versa after or before a few months doing volunteer work in Ecuador) in 3 months, passing through Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador (possibly including Argentina and Chile if time & money permits). I would appreciate any advice from anyone on how much such a trip is likely to cost me on average and also what is the best from of transportation. At present i'm planning to travel alone, but i would more than appreciate any company for part or the whole of the journey. If anyone is interested on such a trip, please contact me by email.
