At the end of my 3 month stay in Australia (ending in April next year) I have a 3 day stopover in Singapore.

Can anyone recommend a place/s to stay and good places to visit.

It's been a few years since I visited, but the thing that made the biggest impression was the food. Go to a hawker center or food court for really good Asian food of all kinds for a really good price (Singapore can be expensive, so this is a great option).

Spend a day at the Jurong Bird Park and another on Sentosa Island. That will take care of two of the three days.
