I am interested in travelling to Tunisia in May and I am looking for suggestions on how to get there via ferry from either Marseille or Sardinia - any ideas on how long it would take/how much it would cost would be greatly appreciated.

Also, any input on crossing into Libya would be helpful, i would love to visit Tripoli

Finally, is May a good time to go? is Tunisia an unsafe place for two women travelling alone who speak French and Arabic?
