does anyone know of a road(lorry two vans) route between these two countries. can visas be made out at the entry boarder-post. Which countrys can be proplematic?

Apart from driving, I have heard about one chap who did travel to India from London by land....on a trail. Took him nearly a month I guess, or more. He travelled to Turkey, from there to tehran and then a quaint little but dangeroud town in S.E. Iran. Another train was picked up from there to Quetta in Pakisan, then to Lahore and the last leg to Amristar in India. Quite an adventure I must say.
