I'm going to India to stay in Mumbai, how far away is the Taj Mahal from Mumbai and what's the fasteset / cheapest way to vist this must see from Mumbai as I'm only going to be in India for 10 days and what to see as much as possible. Any other sugegstions that I must see before I leave?

the best (I mean fastest)way to reach the Taj,from Bombay,would be to fly from Bombay to Agra.There are decent operators like Jet airways/Eastwest airlines.prices are quite reasonable.If you book 2weeks in advance,air tickets are cheaper.
the city of Fatehpur Sikri,near Agra,will be worth a visit.

Jaipur is not far away from Agra, if you have time go overthere.I found the place very nice and lots of things to see.
