Just a quick warning to be careful booking a Blue Cruise through Olympos Yachting (OY), from Kas to Olympos. My two friends and I booked through OY, and had a major headache trying to sort out the resulting mess. In their rush to earn a commission (almost a quarter of the total cost!), OY overbooked the boat and I ended up, quite literally, out at sea without a cabin. The best solution that the owner of OY could come up with was a suggestion that he could always build another cabin to accommodate me. Somehow, I got the feeling he wasn't serious... (perhaps it was the snide tone with which he said it?) After several mobile phone calls from the boat, I struck a deal with him to continue the cruise, sleeping on the deck under a canopy with the crew, for a refund of half the fee. Upon arrival in Olympos, however, OY renegged on the deal and the captain, an absolute gem of a man, refunded the money out of his own pocket. The actual cruise itself was great. The boat was very nice, the captain a gentleman, the chef ever happy and always producing delicious food from the boat's kitchen. It was such a shame that it was nearly ruined initially by the greed of one company.

My wife and I had our own misadventures with Olympos Yachting. We booked to be on the Olympos 2 as it was written on our receipt/ticket, we ended up on a smaller boat also overbooked. The cruise we paid for was supposed to be 3 nights and 4 days , we were told we would leave the boat the last day at around 4PM. We had to disembark at 10AM , 72 hours after boarding.
The blue Cruise is a gret way to travel the Turkish Coast and we would recommand anyone to do it but make sure you avoid Olympos Yachting, they only take their big commission at your expense and the expense of the boat owner who is the one that has to deliver the good and support all the costs. Go directly to the harbour , visit the boats and talk to the captain. Make sure you know before boarding where you are going to sleep and do not pay more than 20% on deposit waiting for when you will depart to pay the balance. Remember you dont need any middleman to do it. They don t care about you and they dont care about the captain either.
