If you visit Egirdir in Turkey (which I strongly recommend), the first place to go is Kadir Can's shop before the causeway from the town to the island of Yesilada. Kadir rents bikes and sells carpets (don't be afraid, as a backpacker, you won't even notice that Kadir sells carpets, cause he won't you offer any; but if you're interested in buying some, his prices are supposed to be unbeatable). Kadir is very nice guy and tea or coffee is always ready in his house. He adores biking himself so that's no surprise his bikes are in excellent condition. And the most important thing is, that Kaddir has a lot tips not only for biking tours (maps included) but for all possible activities around Egirdir too.
