In july 2006 we had a wonderfull two days in
Wadi Rum. We contacted mr. Mzied Atieg, mentioned in the Rough Guide.
His personal campsite, deep in the desert, opposite to the red dunes,
is really fabulous. We had it all to ourselves (july is low season). Gazing at the stars, feeling the cool breeze on your face after a hot day, is amazing.

Mzied is an excellent host and a good cook.

Two days in Wadi Rum is still great in 2008!

We used Aodeh Abdullah, who is as good as the Rough Guide recommended list of guides says. His emails (aodeh25@yahoo.com) are clear, he looks after you, and his loos are good!
