Do you recommend visiting Abu Simbel in a half day tour with flights / sightseeing from Aswan

or

staying overnight in Abu Simbel and also viewing the Sound and Light show - it it worth an overnight stay ????


Also, does anyone recommend any hotels in Abu Simbel, we want a room that's at least 3.5*, clean and comfy ????

did abu simbel by plane two years ago. think, that´s enough unless you´re wishing to spent a night exactly there at the shore of lake nasser. price was 120 us$ per person including transfer to assuan airport from downtown at 4 am. we came back at noon.
