I am looking for information about the Lycian Way trail. Are there any books or detailed information and 'where to stays' along the trail?
Any web information will also be highly appreciated... Thanks. |

I'm guessing that the Lycian Way must pass through Dalyan, as it has some fairly famous rock tombs.
If so, then for budget travellers I'd highly recommend the Pansion Aydin, just upstream from the turtle statue. Very clean and a lovely view down river from the roof terrace, to enjoy whilst you have breakfast. Also Scops Owls in the undeveloped area next to the hotel - one of my favourite European/Middle Eastern (or wherever Turkey is!) birds. Breakfast is good too. cost us about £10 UK / 15 euros when we were there in 2000, for a room for two with shower. |

Thanks pandachris. I found some information... The trail is about 500 kms and it takes at least 30 days to do it on foot. So depending on one pension is just not possible. Either camping along the route or one day pensions on the way... I must do it, it looks like a fantastic idea...
I'll post more info when I have some. thanks. earthling plus |
