We're in Turkey for 4 weeks. We're seriously thinking of renting a car for the Istanbul - Ankara leg (23 days via Edirme, Cannakale, Birgama, Selcuk, Bodrum, Marmaris, Pamakkule, Egidir, Konya etc to Goreme, Kayseri, Sivas, and Amasya). The quote for the car is $960 USD including tax, cdw, theft insurance etc. Our thinking is that the savings in travel and waiting time plus the huge flexibility will make it worthwhile. Any help or advice??
