If you go to Pamukkale, be sure to stay the night so that you can enjoy the night tour. It's offered by the Ozgur Hotel that's on the main road into town, about a 3 minute walk from the terraces. They take you up the terraces at night, to a "secret cave" lit by candles where you can swim and drink wine. Seriously, it was the high-light of my trip, and I highly recommend it. Even as a lone woman traveller, it's great, because it's a family run place with a friendly atmosphere. If you come in on the minibus from Denizli, it will drive right past the hotel.
