iv finely done it, iv booked a world discoverly ticket. flying to bangkok first on 28th jan 2003 then overland thought malaysia to singapore then fly to australia perth first then fly to darwin overland along east coast to brisbane then fly to new zealand back to sydney then on to usa ect. I would realy like to know of some places not to miss,places to stay,not to stay on my travels and any other fellow travelers who would like to meet along the way. would love to here from any who has been,going to places above. happy traveling Chilli

First of all, congratulations on taking the plunge and booking a RTW trip - you'll have a fantastic time. I've also done a RTW trip but it was some years ago now so any specific advice I give you would probably be out of date. (Places change, of course). But you are travelling a route that is a well-worn path, in both directions. Inevitably you will meet other travellers, some of whom will have just been to the place you're going to next. They will tell you the "must-see" sights, the best places to stay and eat (and those to avoid). In return, you'll tell them all about the place you've just been to where they are going next.
