next year i'll be travelling from sydney, australia to sweden, then on to london and my final destination which will be kuta, bali. has anyone got any ideas on the best route, the cheapest airline and/or the best travel agent? i am considering flying to europe via chicago and then onto asia, but have yet to decide on this. what do you think?

Hello Cats, i have just come back from kuta, bali and used garuada airlines, i have to say very good although Gulf Air is very good too(which i used from sin-jakarta-sin). singapore airline's were recently doing a special promotion to bali just b4 christmas, so if u can get specials with dem it can be well worth it.

Garuada airline cost me 521 singapore dollars (includin airport tax 40S$) from sin-bali-sin. that was the cheapest i could find but it would probably be cheaper if u get a flight to jakarta (java) the get a train to jogyakarta(and also u could then see borobudor) n' then a bus from there and a ferry to bali. the train was very comfortable when i used it a while ago and its easy enough and v.cheap too. although i haven't done the rest of the journey so i cant comment on that.
