Hi all
I've just had a good read through the RTW topics and managed to pick up quite a few handy hints on what to bring, managing money etc - probably questions EVERYONE has before their first RTW trip.

Anyway, I embark on my first on 16th January 2003 and plan to be away for 6-10 months. I've bought my tickets through the STA and my intinerary is as follows...

UK - Bangkok - Singapore - Australia - New Zealand - South Africa - UK

Anyone else doing anything similar? Would love to hear from you.

Alright mate! well i have begun my travelling!! and one month into it!! from:

UK - Singapore - Indonesia - sin - Bangkok - ? - ? - ? - Oz - New Zealand - Tonga - LA - Canada -UK

ive put '?' in places where im not sure where ill be, im not sure about going to cambodia, laos, vietnam or hong kong, just as im not sure how long to stay in Oz..

well, its going pretty good at the mo, in bangkok, hopefully moving down south soon..
