I am an Englishman leaving England on september 3rd for a three month journey to India. I am going first to Czech republic, probably direct by bus/train or in a car if i can get a ride on hitchhikers.org. Then after a few weeks volunteering on organic farms in Czech republic (through wwoof.ecn.cz) I am heading for Turkey via Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria, stopping off at a few communities on the way (i've got the book, Eurotopia). Doing the same sort of thing in Turkey (wwoofing) Then on through Turkey, into Iran early October and on to Pakistan to India. Iran and Pakistan will be different, I don't really know what to expect. I have my visas, I'll probably spend about a month in each. What i'm wondering is, has anyone done this trip recently or about to set out? Can anyone recommend good places on my route? Ben
