I am currently planning a RTW trip leaving home in January, going to America, SOuth Pacific, NZ, Oz, SIngapore, Bangkok, Japan. I am going on my own, and as a young female traveller, was just wondering how other single female travellers managed, whether they had any problems. If you could pass on ur wisdom i would be most grateful!

Hi Emma,
You may get a better response if you also post your question in the "Women Travellers" section. Pete |

Hi Emma
I'm also a single girl traveller planning to do the RTW thing late this year early next. Have you received any good advice yet worth passing on? Not sure where to start! Laura |

Emma/Laura,
I am also a single woman traveller planning on traveling from my home in Florida, USA to London, Nice, Bangkok, Australia, NZ from September-January. I'd love any advice you can offer. Also, can you suggest any good web sites or travel agents to book RTW tix through? Thanks! Kat |

ok, so im a man, an i can't offer you the best of advice, but what i can tell you, is that on my travels over the last 2 years, as a solo traveller i meet loads of women travelling on their own (more than men), and at first it suprised me a little, but i think it brings out certain characteristics in women, which men just haven't got. After the first few weeks you'll feel like you're king, or queen, of the world. Take advice on safety, but remember, the country you live in (England or America) is far more dangerous than most other countries in the world. There's nothin to be afraid of as long as you're fairly sensible.
