Hi All, me and my wife will be heading out on a RTW in Jan 2004. We'll be leaving for Aus on 12/27/03 to catch new years in Sydney.
Itinerary roughly: Aus-NZ-Indonesia(Java, Bali)-Thailand-Upper Europe-Lower Europe-Belize/Cancun though we'll see were it takes us. Definitely want to be conscious of not becoming tourists, so we may back off some locations as we go, depending on how it feels. Any suggestions? Any "definite sees"? So far our best research on Airfare has been through STA, anyone else have any better suggestions for airfare, as this seems to be the biggest chunk of the budget? Looking forward to any feedback! -Reuben |

Reuben:
Where will you be leaving from? Looking at the amount of distance you are hoping to cover I would recommend that you look at buying a STAR-ALLIANCE ticket. The price varies according to the mileage and you can travel with about 14 airlines. Two years ago I paid about £1,500 for 33,000km - enough for a very good RTW trip. |
