I'm in desperate need of a new backpack! My old one is an inexpensive toploader, which I really wasn't very happy with at all. I quite fancy a frontloader, again something fairly inexpensive, however this trip will be a bigger one so I want to be comfortable. I would really appreciate any suggestions you have! Thanks

Hi I had a similar dilema. Mine was years old and a pain as it was a top loader.

After agonising over what to buy I went for a Berghaus 80 litre backpack. It comes in mens or womens design so it is so comfortable to wear. No more ending up like an overturned beetle ! It is front loading with a seperate section for sleeping bag etc at the bottom of the pack. It also has a zip away strap panel so it is secure for airlines. One of the best features of it is the internal tracking device which is free of charge. I found the staff in Nomad travel stores so helpful !

Hope this helps !
