I am going Down Under at the start of November and I have my Visa in Place.

Question: I have a friend who wants to go but he is 35 years old.
Can a 35 year old get a Visa for Australia and what type of Visa is it.
We are both British and have Valid Britsh Passports.
He has more than enough of the necessary money that would be required and he has a house that he would rent out to an agency when he goes.

Only problem is trying to figure out the type of Visa he needs.

It would need to be valid for as long as possible (hopefully a year) and should allow him to work (short term or whatever)

Would welcome any response from anyone.
