first of all i just want to wish everyone a lovely christmas, i spent mine in New Zealand a few years back and was missing my family but did get a great sun tan!!

Anyway, back to business, i have posted a few questions before but they've got a bit lost now!!

I'm in my final year at uni doing my dissertation on student backpackers and what media influences them to travel in the first instance and to certain destinations such as new zealand, thailand etc. I would really appreciate it if you could assist me by answering a couple of questions which follow. feel free to simply reply to this post or alternatively reply in a private message.

4) If you are just planning your trip, thinking of travelling or are currently travelling, which destinations are you travelling to?

5) Is there anything which you have either read, watched, heard or seen that you consider to has influenced you to travel, such as Michael Palin, or Lord of the Rings?

6) If you have visited a particular destination which was featured in a piece of influential media, such as Lord of the Rings, did the destination meet your expectations?

7) As a student traveller, are you travelling/planning to travel;

8) If you are travelling with the assistance of an organisation i.e. BUNAC, did that organisation encourage travel to particular destinations/particular activities such as bungee jumping, dolphin and whale watching?
