Question:
Is there anyone who travelled for more than a year on a RTW ticket? I can't find a company who is selling a RTW ticket valid for over a year. Do I have to buy one way tickets?

I will go on a holiday working visa to Oz for a year, then NZ, Cook Island (anyone knows if there is cheap accomodation available?) and South America (Equator, Peru, Bolivia, Brasil) Anyone did that kind of trip?

Thanks for your help!

Choices:
more than a year

Hi Alexandra,

Yes, one year seems to be the standard maximum time for a RTW ticket, and I've never heard of anyone getting one for longer than that.

I suggest you put your question to the RTW specialists, such as Trailfinders or Travelbag, and get their advice.

Good luck!
Pete
