BBC is a Lier or Bastard !
Let me Know, BBC is the voice of English Gorvenment or the voice of bastards. Poor all jousnaliste is working at BBC headquaters, they don’t realized that because of fucking words they said so English Government contract with American Gorvenment done the War at Iraq and a lot of poor people in Irad had been killed by their Army. They call that is a Victory.
Nowadays, BBC heard the voice of Kon Ksor who is living at California of US and they tell “the truth in lie” about humanite in Viet Nam.
Everybody knows that after Viet Nam War (1975), US Gorvenment is trying make clear their poitrat by telling the lie to Viet Nam. And BBC become and a clow in US CIRCLE
On behalf of Viet Nam patriotism, I have a words with all Vietnamese is living at Viet Nam let help me telling the trurth about Kon Ksor is a betray of Viet Nam. NEVER BEING HIM LIVING ON THE WORLD.

Hi,

I think the BBC just interviewed him didn't they. I don't think they were trying to support everything he said, just to let him speak.

I agree with you that the US and Hollywood routinely rewrite history...they did this over Vietname, World War 2, and everything else they can!

I also love arguing with Americans about their history when they get on their high horse..most Americans are not taught about the terrible atrocities wrought by the US in IndoChina during the sixties - for example, a million citizens killed, enough money spent on bombs to give everyone in Vietnam the highest standard of living in the world, the massacre at Mai Lai, the secret bombings in Cambodia and Laos - which is still the most heavily bombed country on the planet!

It's terrible, but I don't think the BBC is trying to rewrite history, just to give a different point of view.

You must remember that although the American involvement in IndoChina was completely wrong, many Vietnamese welcomed them as they were afraid to live under the regime of the the Communist North. So there are millions of people all over the world of vietnamese descent who are refugees and cannot now return to the land where they were born.

For example, the Montagnards (the Dega) who had to leave and are now settled in North Carolina, US. There are reports in the western media about hundreds or even thousands od deaths following Easter demonstrations agains religious repression.

Also, I must say there is a lot of concern about human rights and religious repression in Vietnam, suppression of free - speech and so on. But this is not just about Vietnam, the same applies to China and a hundred other countries where minorities are treated badly.

I also disagree that the BBC is the mouthpiece of the British government. There was a scandle recently between the BBC and Tony Blairs government about the so called weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

I also oppose the current policy in the middle east, and hope that Blair and George Bush are voted out at the next election.

I look forward to visiting your country again in the coming years. I hope that I will be able to live there and teach English...

Happy Trails

Hi,
I'd just like to point out that saying that the BBC is a liar based on your message is wrong. The BBC is the most balanced news service in the world, and is publicly funded, and responsible to the public, not the Government.

If you believe you have a complaint against the BBC, you are entitled to write to the BBC, via their website, and they will respond to your message.

If you want unbalanced and biased news, check out any good American news service, i recommend Fox News!

Paul

P.S. yes, i do work for the BBC

Hey political numpty,

This is a travel site right?? If you want to spout your political views do it where it is wanted. Try newsnight on BBC2. But seriously I hope your insult is not aimed at the Brtish people in general. If it is then I take it as an offence and will gladly offer you outside and tear your head from your shoulders,

T.

Hey tony, i kinda thought it was interesting, maybe if you opened your eyes both meterphorically and to read what they had said you would realise this is exactly the right things people on a world forum should be discussing to enlighten more people of these appaulin actions. I'd also like to mention that your country (and mine) should be blamed in part so less of the head tearing maybe??
