hello i want to go to a short trip to an island but have to idea where to start looking i dont want to stay ina hotel or anything lik e thayt and i want to be near the beach i dont want to be anywhere too touristy but i want to feel safe cos im 20 and ill be on my own does anyone have anysuggestions?

OK, that narrows it down quite a bit.

The only remaining option now would be to stay in a bungalow and for that I would recommend an island in SE Asia like Ko Samui, Thailand
